Your Favourite Pastime
Hints:- What is pastime - What is my pastime- why I prefer it to any other - how it enriches ones's mind and the hour of leisure - conclusion.
All of us have some main work to do. I am a student. My main task is to devote myself to my studied hard and soul, and prepare myself for a bright career ahead. But after our main work we have leisure. We utilise this leisure by doing things entirely according to our personal taste and choice. Some time may play chess, some carrom, other may devote the time to a game of tennis or cards.
My pastime is reading books outside my school curriculum. My love of books may be called unlimited. I read crime-thrillers, travelogues, biographies, adventure-stories, good novels to name only a few types of literature.
Books expand the horizon of my knowledge. Through to the descriptions found in travel books I mentally visit place that I may not be able to visit physically even in my whole my whole life.
Good novel give me insight into the complexities of different social system and the men and women who belong to such system. In fact with in the short space it is impossible for me to describe the joy, wisdom, pleasure and knowledge that i get from reading books.
